The CDS Armed Forces and Security Agencies Half Marathon Championship was a well talked about event that was catered for by 360° Entertainment for the Defense Headquarters’ Sport’s directorate. Their aim was to build friendship bonds amongst sister agencies whilst rebuilding public trust and confidence in the Armed Forces. However, the DHQ team’s major concern was how they could break the 2017 participation record, attract more visibility and corporate sponsorships.
Initially, we were only mandated to market the event to prospective sponsors, we however decided to create an experience that stimulated the creative sessions between 360° Entertainment and our client.
The twist was rather unusual.
Our contributions during one of such sessions saw us introduce the need to create a brand identity for the event. We were co-opted into the DHQ’s Central Planning Committee—a task the 360° creative team would never shy away from.

We didn’t only outdo ourselves as regards repackaging the entire brand, we garnered sponsorship worth a hundred Million Naira for the 2019 edition besides stars praises of 3 SUVs and more.
